Responsibility
- to manage the space and resources of the warehouse efficiently to meet quality, budgetary and environmental objectives
- to develop and implement dispatch safeguards, procedures and protocols, monitoring and reporting on these
- to lead and manage the recruitment and training of staff as well as monitoring staff performance and progress
- to lead and manage our courier relationships
- to lead and manage the dispatch team ensuring the timely completion and control of Goods in, Picking, Packing, Goods out, Samples, Returns and Stock Control
- to brief leaders on a daily basis on warehouse operations highlighting key actions and challenges for that day
- to develop and monitor productivity targets for the team and individual team members ensuring efficient and effective Goods in, Picking, Packing, Goods out, Samples, Returns and Stock Control
- to develop and implement statistics and reporting on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
Requirements
- previous warehouse supervisory experience
- experience of working in a 3PL or eCommerce warehouse
- good man management skills
- excellent attention to detail
- great attention to detail and well organised
- clear communication skills and a real team player
- management style - encouraging, inspiring and enabling
- warehouse Management: 5 years
