Responsibility
- assisting the Technical Manager with Preparation for SALSA and Organic audits
- ensure Compliance with all company policies in relation to food safety, quality & legality
- organoleptic testing carried out and recorded for products, at goods in and from start to end of shelf life
- collect product samples for microbiological analysis and shelf-life assessment
- to compile, check and approve product specifications
- completion of customer specifications and questionnaires
- investigate to find potential root cause of customer/consumer complaints and close of out of complaints
- carrying out Internal audits including weekly and monthly checks of hygiene and fabrication and monitoring the corrective actions required
Requirements
- previous food industry background - ideally food manufacturing, regulatory or quality assurance or graduate with relevant degree
- intermediate HACCP – preferable, but not essential
- excellent interpersonal skills and written and oral communication skills to enable the development of highly effective internal and external partnerships
- formal Food Hygiene/Science/Regulatory Qualification or Degree or Previous Food Industry Experience
- intermediate Food Hygiene Certificate
- excellent presentations skills
- excellent leadership skills with ability to manage a variety of cross functional team members
- internal Auditing qualification
