- support the HoCQ in the management of the programme area to ensure agreed quality standards are met
- assist with the day-to-day management of the programme area, raising the quality of education for all students and their levels of satisfaction. Deputise for Head of Curriculum and Quality where and when appropriate
- support the HoCQ to meet or exceed agreed KPIs. Work collaboratively with all support services to ensure high standards of teaching and learning are reached and maintained and student retention and outcomes are maximised
- promote high standards of teaching, learning and assessment within a secure, challenging and stimulating educational environment to enable students to develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours required to be successful in their chosen field
- any other duties commensurate with the level of responsibility
