football coach
Responsibility
- delivery of consistent high-quality coaching, relevant to respective age and ability, based on performance and education
- manage 2nd team squad in both Caledonian League First Division and BUCS Scottish 2A competitions
- manage U20’s Team in the West of Scotland Development League
- to deliver activities as part of a planned progressive programme to develop players technically, tactically, socially, and psychologically
- preparation, Planning and Implementation of all relative football-based operations
- prepare venue, equipment, and all activities in line with minimum operating standards making the safety of student’s paramount
- look to enhance Game Education and maximize Performance in the Technical, Tactical, Physiological and Psychological aspects of the game
- support the development of the clubs developing curriculum and philosophy
Requirements
- applicants must have a minimum of SFA C Licence or equivalent qualification
- organisation to use time efficiently and effectively
- strong communication to effectively motivate players and volunteers
- engagement with players to build a strong team culture
- provide structured planning and make best use of time available
- show an appropriate level of technical & tactical knowledge
- demonstrate honesty and commitment to learn and share as part of a coaching team
- sports coaching: 1 year
