an understanding of industry standards and protocols
Responsibility
taking All First Notification of Loss responsibilities – Phone/Email/Post
provide input in to process improvement and innovation
willingness to develop an understanding of the basic insurance principles that guide our claims handling decisions
handle the full assessment of the claim and send the correct responses throughout
handle claims from beginning to end, developing a good understand of the different products that we offer with a focus on the larger and more complex matters
willingness to understand and work within the service standards of the business, consistently hitting agreed productivity targets, whilst taking the time to assist customers who require additional help, or who have complex problems to address
building relationships with external stake holders such as Underwriters/brokers
accurately record all actions throughout the lifespan of the claim on the claims system
