  • quality checking quotations against Flexiform order acknowledgements to ensure information is correct
  • create Specials and send to Engineering quickly to enable accurate estimates and commercial decisions to be made
  • must attend all installations above £25k in value before order, during installation and at sign off as a minimum
  • the end to end project management and coordination of deliveries and installations for furniture projects, from our own manufactured products and those of our suppliers
  • to assist the National Sales Director and Head of Project Management and Flexiform Sales Team in visiting customer sites and offices to undertake surveys to assist in space planning, generation and updating of Risk Assessments and Method Statements, delivery and install panning and liaising with clients
  • must be fully aware of and understand the need for all company paperwork and procedures
  • liaise with the sales team/account manager, supply chains and clients as and when required to ensure installation/project management of the account is conducted appropriately
  • to train and keep updated, as necessary, with all Flexiform products, supplier products and any newly introduced products or additions to existing product

  • post-Sales Support - You will be assigned a customer database for post-sales support and be responsible for the logging of any cases raised against the customer’s order organising replacement, damaged or missing parts etc

  • raising Pro Forma invoices / chasing payment of these if not paid inside a certain timeframe

Responsibility

  • review demands through existing systems and ensure all activities are completed on time in full to support subsequent operations
  • complete all aspects of upholstery for existing and future product ranges
  • review bills of materials for all products and highlight issues to your supervisor or Engineering
  • measure and cut materials using manual or automated cutting instruments
  • operate sewing machines to sew upholstery and join various sections of covering fabric
  • apply expert knowledge of upholstery to build upholstered furniture using a variety of hand or power tools
  • work with tools and materials such as glue, staples, tacks and nail guns
  • assemble and quality check a wide array of products
