Responsibility
- team Leader - Insurance Property Claims Management
- serve as the main point of contact and build strong working relationships with homeowners, insurance loss adjusters, and the conservation team
- cultivate a collaborative and collegial management style, empowering team members and encouraging input from all team members
- assess and evaluate the extent of damage to fine artworks and antiques, determining appropriate conservation techniques and procedures
- develop comprehensive restoration plans, including timelines and cost estimates, and present them to clients and insurance adjusters
- provide excellent customer service throughout the recovery process
- coordinate and oversee the execution of restoration projects, ensuring adherence to established quality standards and timelines
- ensure accurate scoping and pricing reports are created in a timely manner for each incident
Education
- bachelor's
Requirements
- possess an analytical mindset and keen attention to detail
- prior experience in insurance claims handling, loss adjusting, general management, construction, logistics, or a related field is advantageous but not required
- bachelor's or Master's degree in Art Conservation, Conservation Science, or a related field
- proven experience in art conservation, with expertise in restoring fine artworks and antiques
- strong knowledge of conservation techniques, materials, and best practices, with the ability to apply them effectively
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills to establish rapport with homeowners, insurance loss adjusters, and high-profile clients
- demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience in managing and motivating a team of conservators
- exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in documentation and project management
