Requirements
- knowledge of optical sorters, ballistic separators and conveyor belts would be an advantage
- health and Safety knowledge would be desirable
- A high sense of urgency in troubleshooting issues to rectify plant issues
- ability to use initiative under pressure
- ability to remain proactive throughout the shift highlighting/ escalating issues where necessary
- industry experience would be an advantage
- can do and positive attitude
- be able to work individually as well as part of a team
Responsibility
- maintain and adhere to the service schedule for machinery in line with manufactures guidelines and our maintenance management system
- create a stock itinerary of all tools kept on site with a signing in and out of high value items through our maintenance management system
- the role Maintenance Assistant will be pivotal to the operation as you will be ensuring that the production runs smoothly with any technical issues being dealt with promptly
- manage and lead the maintenance team on shift
- ensure that there is sufficient stock of supplies kept on site and an accurate record kept
- report any misuse of the machinery of any kind to the Health & Safety Manager or Site Operations Manager
- order and keep an accurate itinerary of spare parts ordered and in stock
