joining a growing multi-disciplinary team supporting the design and development of world leading head up display products and technology, you will be working together with other disciplines to produce design solutions that arise from new product design, customer requests, and other activities including test, verification and production engineering
Requirements
user of CAD systems . Working in PDM/PLM environments expected
GD&T skills. Good knowledge and evidence of designing to very tight tolerances. Creating, reviewing and approving mechanical drawings
knowledge of materials selection from both cost and performance perspectives
evidence of troubleshooting and finding rapid solutions
ability to develop jigs and fixtures to test product features and performance
desirable
up to 5 years experience of developing “high-technology” automotive products from concept design to mass production
knowledge of opto-mechanical design and experience working on display systems is a big plus
