Requirements
- city and Guilds NVQ 3 or equivalent
- minimum 5 years experience
- experience in electrical containment
- completion of an apprenticeship program or relevant vocational training
- minimum of 3 years of experience as an electrician
- proven experience as an electrician
- proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and blueprints
- strong knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and equipment
Responsibility
- install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in commercial and residential buildings
- read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints to determine wiring layouts
- install and connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, outlets, or other components
- test electrical systems and equipment to ensure proper functioning
- we are an M&E company in Caterham, Surrey that is expanding and looking for another electrician to join our team. Our main client base is commercial and would require you to work in schools, churches, offices etc
- troubleshoot electrical issues and make necessary repairs or replacements
- follow safety procedures and regulations when working with high voltage systems
- collaborate with other construction professionals, such as frame carpenters, to ensure proper installation of electrical systems
