Responsibility
- manage and oversee the booking of MOTs, services, and repair work
- distribute and control the workload of a skilled team of technicians and MOT testers, maximising workshop efficiency and quality output
- ensure customers are kept informed throughout their vehicle’s service, from booking to completion
- handle customer queries with confidence, both face-to-face and over the phone, delivering exceptional customer service
- produce accurate invoices for completed work
- manage stock, including tyre orders and fast-fit parts, ensuring optimal stock levels
- lead and manage staff, promoting a positive, collaborative working environment
- proficient in administrative tasks including report generation and record keeping
Requirements
- proven experience in the Fast Fit/Retail Automotive industry, ideally in a similar management role
- strong knowledge of tyre fitting, service repairs, and MOT processes
- exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle queries effectively and professionally
- experience in staff management and team coordination
- computer literacy is essential
- strong organisational and multitasking skills in a busy environment
- organisational skills: 1 year
- sales management: 1 year
