good understanding of Excel and previous experience with accounting systems
previous experience within a finance role, preferably as a Purchase Ledger Clerk.If not, within a general finance role with some responsibility for the purchase ledger
Responsibility
print and match invoices with Purchase Orders and Delivery Notes
requesting proof of delivery internally and booking them in when received
corporate card expenses- analyse, allocate to relevant jobs, chase receipts or further information
issue credit card forms, add to log, check order confirmation matches form
credit card reconciliation- making sure all invoices received and allocated against the payment
working with other internal teams to resolve invoicing queries
account reconciliation end of month, requesting missing statements and invoices
assist/cover sales ledger administration as required
