Responsibility

• develop and implement effective internal and external communication plans that align with Darwin Group’s goals and objectives

• work with the marketing team to develop and implement integrated campaign content to raise brand awareness and perception within the healthcare market
• maintain a keen understanding of market trends and challenges affecting the healthcare environment to create engaging content proactively
• develop engaging communications and content in line with internal and external plans, incorporating news articles, blogs, social media content, website copy, whitepapers, brochures and any other event-related materials
• collaborate with NHS PR & Communications teams and other relevant stakeholders to promote Darwin Group and build our reputation at all stages of our process, from concept design to building handover and commissioning
• working in collaboration with the Marketing Director and external PR agency, seek opportunities to position Darwin Group in leading industry media and national press to raise our profile and demonstrate thought leadership
• to work in compliance with all Company Policies contained within the Staff Handbook
• to carry out any reasonable request from the Board of Directors, Senior Management and your Line Manager

Requirements

• bachelors degree or equivalent experience in journalism, PR or communication
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a communications role
• experience of working with senior leaders and external partners
