Responsibility

  • producing accurate and appropriate documentation for formal cases
  • escalating complex cases to Senior HR Advisors / HR Business Partner
  • managing incoming queries for the HR Advisory Team
  • capturing and tracking advice and key information in our case management system, ensuring we have accurate MI
  • supporting line managers in formal meetings by providing HR advice and taking meeting notes
  • upskilling managers knowledge of employee relations best practice
  • providing advice and guidance on the application of our policies, including grievance, disciplinary, sickness absence and managing underperformance in line with UK employment law
  • ad hoc HR project work support

Requirements

  • the ability to work independently and as part of team to deliver common goals
  • excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • experience in underwriting and SME commercial products, and of working within an e-traded environment, with knowledge of the Acturis platform preferred
  • proven relationship management
  • excellent telephone manner and customer service skills
  • A positive attitude with motivation to learn and develop
  • strong verbal and written communication skills, conveying information to customers in a professional and efficient manner
  • an awareness of the market and legal/industry developments
