technical architect
Responsibility
- take a lead role in the running of projects with direct client communications
- supporting the company in achieving high quality working drawing packages using Revit and AutoCAD
- production, submission and management of Planning applications
- liaising with other consultants
- working as part of a team to deliver scheme designs covering the residential, health and commercial sectors
- attending meetings with client
- supporting junior team members to help them develop their skills and knowledge base
Requirements
- possess a minimum of 5 years of UK project experience
- experience in the production of drawing for large-scale residential projects
- track record of working on the planning applications
- enthusiasm for problem solving
- ability to manage the planning process
- thorough knowledge of the Building Regulations and the Planning process/discharge of conditions
- experience working at or with a housing developer would be highly beneficial
- experience in using REVIT is essential
