Requirements
- relevant qualification in payroll management or similar is desirable but not essential e.g CIPP or AAT
- competent payroll administrator with ability to work independently as the sole payroll administrator
- up to date knowledge of current payroll and taxation legislation
- knowledge of payroll processing systems
- methodical approach to payroll administrative practices
- key for detail
- problem solving and continuous improvement attitude
- payroll: 1 year
Responsibility
- prepare the 5 payrolls in accordance with the agreed monthly payment schedule
- provide accurate and reliable service to the business and its stakeholders
- be the main point of contact for answering questions relating to payroll
- process any payroll changes in a quickly and efficient manner
- prepare payments and information for PAYE, NI, Pension Contributions and other required payments. E.g attachment of earnings
- ensure statutory reporting is completed to the highest standard
- carry out other duties which fall within reasonable expectations of the role
