Responsibility
- assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for patients in various healthcare settings, including hospitals, clinics, and other facilities
- administering medications and treatments as prescribed, monitoring patients' responses and providing appropriate interventions
- observing and documenting patients' condition, progress, and response to treatment, and maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records
- collaborating with other healthcare professionals, such as doctors, pharmacists, and allied health staff, to provide comprehensive and coordinated care
- participating in the development, implementation, and evaluation of care plans, protocols, and policies to ensure safe and effective patient care
- educating patients and their families about their condition, treatment, and self-care, and providing emotional support and counseling as needed
- participating in quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits, and research activities to promote evidence-based practice and improve patient outcomes
- mentoring and supporting junior staff, students, and other members of the healthcare team
Requirements
- registered Nurse with current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council in the UK
- relevant nursing experience, preferably in a variety of healthcare settings
- demonstrated knowledge and skills in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care
- strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with other healthcare professionals
- knowledge of relevant policies, guidelines, and best practices in nursing
- commitment to continuous professional development and keeping up-to-date with current nursing research and evidence-based practice
