Responsibility
assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for patients in various healthcare settings, including hospitals, clinics, and other facilities
administering medications and treatments as prescribed, monitoring patients' responses and providing appropriate interventions
observing and documenting patients' condition, progress, and response to treatment, and maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records
collaborating with other healthcare professionals, such as doctors, pharmacists, and allied health staff, to provide comprehensive and coordinated care
participating in the development, implementation, and evaluation of care plans, protocols, and policies to ensure safe and effective patient care
educating patients and their families about their condition, treatment, and self-care, and providing emotional support and counseling as needed
participating in quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits, and research activities to promote evidence-based practice and improve patient outcomes
mentoring and supporting junior staff, students, and other members of the healthcare team
Requirements
registered Nurse with current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council in the UK
relevant nursing experience, preferably in a variety of healthcare settings
demonstrated knowledge and skills in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care
strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills
excellent communication and interpersonal skills
ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with other healthcare professionals
knowledge of relevant policies, guidelines, and best practices in nursing
commitment to continuous professional development and keeping up-to-date with current nursing research and evidence-based practice
