- expert knowledge of Asset Finance and up to date market knowledge from a credit risk perspective is essential
- strong working knowledge of SME Working Capital lending and / or Property lending from a credit risk perspective is desirable
- general Banking experience including of debt restructuring, remediation and workout/recovery is desirable
Responsibility
- you will work in collaboration with colleagues to review information provided as part of customer lending applications and engage with customers
- assessment and Underwriting of loan facilities and asset financings within the agreed credit risk appetite
- act as the first line of defence in the assessment and underwriting of a range of SME lending facilities including Asset Finance
- this role has a particular emphasis on Asset Finance and SME Working Capital Lending, however, it will also include other SME lending including Property-backed facilities
- you will also be responsible for supporting the Head of Credit in monitoring and oversight of the performance of the lending portfolios
