Responsibility

• use Fusion360 to create constrained sketches, models and drawings of a range of extruded parts
• export drawings into a range of formats suitable for supplier quote requests
• produce a range of drawings including 2D profile drawings, fabrication drawings, general assembly drawings, packaging drawings etc as required

• help to create designs for jigs, fixtures, etc that support our CNC production process
• operate a 3D printing service offering small prototypes of extruded sections to the sales team/end users
• operate a helpdesk style service accepting requests for CAD assistance providing support for internal stakeholders such as technical sales team members and production management staff
• complete the CAD/Profile details section of supplier quote requests uploading and drawings and CAD file as required
• provide general CAD support/advice to all other basic CAD users within the organisation
• recommend the most suitable extruders or tool makers from our panel of suppliers based on the properties of the extrusion you have drawn
• create CNC programs for a range of machines using our provider's conversational/graphically interface, simulate and test. No CNC programming experience is required as all training will be given, however exposure in this area would be advantageous
