- drafting Court proceedings and effective use of the diary
- answer telephone calls promptly, dealing with queries in respect of cases and passing on messages as appropriate
- assisting the Solicitors in the managing of files and administrative duties
- deal with incoming post, opening and scanning post as required, adhering to internal controls and GDPR
- transcribing from digital dictation
- opening and closing files
- actively communicate with Legal Secretaries and other colleagues to ensure the business is effectively supported
- perform other administrative support duties as required
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years secretarial/administrative experience
- excellent communication skills with a strong ability to communicate effectively face-to-face and over the phone
- experience in a client/customer facing role
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be flexible to meet tight deadlines
- excellent communication skills
- at least 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- experience in using case management software effectively
- strong organisational and administrative skills
