Requirements
- ability to Work Safely including a detailed understanding of Health & Safety and its importance in the workplace
- minimum of 18 months experience in provision of maintenance/ technical services to anaerobic or demonstrably similar facilities/ operations
- good working knowledge of pumps, valves, macerators, hydraulic systems, pneumatics, conveyors, hoppers and other similar equipment frequently found on AD sites
- good technical understanding of electrical and/or mechanical systems
- proficiency operating modern maintenance technology
- ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
- familiarity with programmable logic controllers
- good physical fitness for carrying out demanding tasks
Responsibility
- development and delivery of predictive maintenance services utilising the SmartOps management system and in collaboration with the operations teams
- development and deliver of the preventative maintenance services utilising the SmartOps management system and in collaboration with the operations teams
- conducting inspections and identifying areas requiring works and improvements
- organising and delivering reactive maintenance services and repairs
- production of Risk Assessments and Method Statements and Standard Procedures for the undertaking of maintenance tasks
- discussing maintenance concerns with the employer and agreeing programmes of works
- provision of an on-call service to attend emergency maintenance needs in collaboration with the Operations Teams
- developing budgets, identifying and managing supplier relationships
