Responsibility
- we are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Accountant to join our Finance team
- analyze financial performance by assessing key metrics such as revenue, costs, and profitability, and provide detailed reports to support data-driven decision-making
- additionally, the candidate will contribute to feasibility studies for new locations and assist in strategic financial planning for expansion
- manage accounts payable and receivable, processing invoices, handling payments, and monitoring outstanding balances
- develop and manage budgets and forecasts for restaurant operations, ensuring alignment with business goals and providing periodic variance analysis
- support the financial planning process by monitoring and analyzing budget performance, making recommendations for improvements, and identifying potential risks or opportunities
- prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports, including Profit & Loss statements, Balance Sheets, and EBITDA calculations, ensuring they reflect the unique aspects of restaurant operations
- assist with payroll processing and employee expense reports, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and adherence to tax regulations
Requirements
- in-depth knowledge of restaurant accounting practices, including P&L management, cost control, budgeting, and financial analysis
- proven experience in conducting feasibility studies for new locations and preparing financial projections for business growth
- strong analytical and numerical skills with a keen attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- excellent organizational and time-management abilities to manage multiple financial tasks and meet deadlines
- effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with restaurant management and staff
- education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required
- certification: CPA, AAT, ACCA or relevant certification preferred
- accounting: 3 years
