Responsibility
- day to day management of the finance team, a team of 5 with 2 direct reports
- to support the Finance and HR Director on contractual matters and ad hoc projects as needed
- continuously review processes and systems in place with the aim of optimising the efficiency and performance of the finance department
- other ad-hoc projects as may be required
- to lead on the administration of the salary cap with the support of the Finance and HR Director and the Head of Recruitment
- review and approval of supplier payments and expenses
- ensuring compliance with all tax requirements, including preparation / filing of the quarterly VAT return and liaison with HMRC
- supporting the Finance and HR Director and working closely with the Head of Recruitment to ensure that the Club complies with any current or future Salary Cap regulations, including liaison with the league Salary Cap Director in respect of all administrative matters
