- strong diagnostic, mathematical and mechanical aptitude
Responsibility
- perform scheduled checks and maintenance on all irrigation infrastructure
- monitor moisture levels; program controller to meet turfgrass needs
- identify problems; locate and repair leaks, breaks, pressure issues
- upgrade sprinkler heads, valves, pumps when necessary
- keep detailed logs of all preventative work and repairs
- adjust watering schedules based on weather, aggression, seasonality
- collaborate with Course manager on improvement projects
- provide irrigation insight and assist with greenkeeping tasks
