Responsibility
- as the Director of Finance, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and enhancing our financial operations
- we have an exciting opportunity available for a Director of Finance, to join the team in the well-established charity Autism Anglia, located within our head office in the heart of Colchester City Centre
- hybrid working pattern available
- autism Anglia provides direct provision for people within the Autistic Spectrum from preschool to adults. We provide a range of services to enable autistic people to live as independently as possible and experience choice and inclusion in society
- reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, you will be responsible for managing financial processes, improving systems, and leading a team to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency
- providing financial support and guidance in development of projects, including detailed financial modelling for proposed projects, identifying financial risks and funding strategies
- together with the Senior Leadership team, the Director of Finance will help drive the strategic development of the charity with specific responsibility for the delivery of all financial management, best practices, controls, reporting and audit governance
