working from our Norfolk Campus in Whitstone and Walnut Houses in Dereham The successful Senior Support Worker will assist people who are within the autistic spectrum and enable them to maximize their potential and develop life skills across multiple activities
the Senior Support Worker will work as part of a team to help those in your care to help them achieve their own life plans, through a person-centred approach

Requirements
ability to manage emotionally and physically challenging situations and behaviours – essential
ability to identify needs, wishes and aspirations of individuals who may have communication needs – essential
people skills, enthusiasm, attention to detail, respect and reliable ae all the qualities we look for in every Senior Support Worker
line management experience including supervision and development of staff – desirable
experience of working within a health and social care environment with individuals with an Autistic Spectrum Condition – desirable
it is essential that the post holder should have a full driving licence
we need people who share our passion for making a difference and although experience of working with autism would be valuable, it is not essential for this role as full training will be given
