Responsibility
- work alongside the existing Wedding Coordinator and alone to coordinate weddings that vary in size from 80 guests to 300 guests
- manage incoming calls and emails from potential clients enquiring about weddings
- follow up on all enquiries and show rounds to maximise revenue
- direct the event schedule throughout the day, from set-up through to welcoming guests to cutting of the cake, handling anything that arises in a confident manner
- work with suppliers and the couple the day before the wedding to set up and dismantle wedding décor and equipment
- deal with suppliers in the lead up to the wedding and on the day, including dealing with the external catering team and registrars
- strong sales ability, assisting with inhouse sales and enquires, and conducting viewings with couples to help them envisage their wedding day with us
- manage social media accounts and confident in writing blogs and promotional materials
