Responsibility
- this is an exciting and stretching role with a high level of responsibility and profile across the department and wider government
- the successful candidate will have direct responsibility for the Minister’s diary, including commissioning briefing and liaising with stakeholders to arrange visits
- we particularly invite applications from ethnic minority candidates, those with disabilities or caring responsibilities and other underrepresented groups

- as such, candidates who score strongly at interview may be invited to have an informal conversation with the Minister before being appointed to the role
- the role is fast-paced and rewarding, offering regular interaction with Ministers and senior colleagues. The role pays a private office allowance of £6,319 on top of £30,923 salary to account for additional hours worked

Requirements
