Responsibility
- maintain an updated inventory of laundry detergents and other cleaning supplies, placing orders as needed to avoid shortages
- maintain the cleanliness of the facility at all times, fostering a clean and organized environment for both customers and staff
- proactively anticipate and respond to customers' queries, concerns, and complaints, always aiming for high customer satisfaction
- oversee the sorting, washing, drying, pressing, and folding of clothing and other textile items, ensuring a high standard of care and service
- prepare and manage staff rotas, ensuring adequate coverage during all business hours
- manage customer items efficiently, tracking which items belong to whom, and ensuring items are returned to their rightful owner in a timely manner
- oversee the banking of the money, ensuring that all transactions are accurately recorded, and the money is deposited safely and promptly
- track and manage the maintenance and repairs of laundering equipment, liaising with service providers as necessary to ensure the equipment is always in optimal condition
