Working hours
- full-time | Part-time
Responsibility
- to conduct and record routine inspections of premises and equipment
- to handle basic repairs and maintenance
- to paint, decorate and maintain all aspects of the home including bedrooms and communal areas
- to carry out exterior decorating of the home where necessary
- making good of any walls, ceilings and doors
- to perform any other duties as requested by the Manager
- to participate in fire drills
- to undertake maintaining the property exterior through different seasons
Requirements
- an ability to use common tools such as hammers, saws, drills, screwdrivers
- A skilled ability to use a variety of power tools
- an ability to change light bulbs and fixtures, ensuring they are in good working order
- to complete minor electrical work such as replace a damaged socket or light fitting
- to complete minor plumbing work such as replacing taps/washers/sinks
- to undertake simple carpentry repairs to furniture and doors
- to keep work sheds and outbuildings clean and tidy and decorated/ treated if required
- to clean or clear general areas such as the waste bin compound
