• this will be leading a team of approximately 10 people in a fast paced working environment
• reporting into - Production Supervisor
• to oversee the cleaning area to ensure that productivity is maintained to meet requirements of the daily production schedule
• report H&S hazards and near misses, carry out safety conversations, and champion risk reduction within FAIRS
• be responsible for the entire production covering all work stations, covering work stations where possible to ensure maximum productivity
• maintain customer focus within the team, informing them of changes to schedules, orders, and delivery requirements
• be responsible for ensuring that all allergen swab records and tests are carried out correctly, and also correctly documented
• lead the team to ensure the On Time, In Full Error Free delivery of FAIRS
• ensuring that efficiency is maintained throughout each station and any issues/shortfalls are addresses
• ensure all KPI’s and targets are achieved on a daily basis
• lead the training and assessment of all operator skills within the department
• training and guidance for the existing team, setting the correct example
• responsible for communicating any disciplinary matters to your manager or Supervisor
• working Hours - 06:30am until 16:00pm
• working Hours - 08:00am until 17:00pm and 08:00am until 16:00pm - 1 hour break per day
• support the Root Cause Analysis activity for customer incidents and quality non-conformances, both internal and external
• ensure all products are manufactured to the required quality and technical specifications. Quarantine any non-conforming units to escalate to your Line Manager
• work closely with Provisions Team Leader to minimize unplanned line stoppage time
• ensure that all production operations are carried out in accordance to their Standard Operating
• continually look for opportunities to improve the manufacturing processes, working environment, and team morale – participate in improvement projects and pro-actively make changes in-line with company procedures
• attend PCS daily and contribute to discussions and actions
• set a pace for the line to ensure MPMH is maintained and exceeded where possible. Remove in-line blockers to prevent line stoppages and disruptions
• maintain required production documentation daily to capture the days performance in line with procedures
