Responsibility
- to work alongside existing maintenance/handyperson and reporting directly to the Home Manager
- on call rate paid at time and a half
- complete all checks as stipulated in Policies and Procedures on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis as required
- undertake maintenance of specific items of equipment, maintaining records in accordance with Company Guidelines
- working 40 hours per week, covering the hours of 8am-5pm, to include alternative weekend working, this consisting of working a Saturday on a rotational basis and to be available for on-call for the remainder of that weekend
- undertake basic electrical checks on all equipment, i.e
- at the commencement of each day check maintenance books in the home and carry out repairs as required or contact engineers/service agent where applicable
- to familiarise yourself with the contractor’s, call out system and their responsibilities in the home. To familiarise yourself with homes emergency procedures i.e. fire, gas leak
