Requirements
- proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or in a similar role within logistics or supply chain management
- strong knowledge of transportation management systems and 3PL operations
- excellent understanding of logistics principles and practices
- demonstrated ability to implement continuous improvement strategies within a warehouse environment
- experience in managing profit loss related to warehouse functions is advantageous
- strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate a team effectively
- excellent organisational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- valid forklift licence is desirable but not mandatory; training may be provided
Responsibility
- coordinate and communicate with other departments, such as procurement, logistics, and sales
- supervise and train warehouse staff, ensuring adherence to operational standards and procedures
- oversee the maintenance and upkeep of warehouse equipment and facilities
- monitor security measures to prevent theft and loss within the warehouse
- maintain accurate inventory records and regularly conduct physical inventory counts
- implement and monitor KPIs to track and improve warehouse performance
- ensure timely and accurate shipping and receiving processes
- ensure efficient organization and storage of products to maximize space and optimize workflow
