Responsibility
supplier invoice entry
creating supplier BACS payment files and issuing remittances
supplier statement reconciliation
bank reconciliation
ensuring customer billings are processed in a timely manner
working with the customer services team to agree customer payment plans and investigate billing discrepancies
auditing Employee Expenses
the main purpose of your role as Accounts Payable & Billing Assistant is to assist with essential financial, administrative and clerical support to the organisation, completing payments, controlling expenses by receiving payments, plus processing, verifying and reconciling invoices
Requirements
enthusiastic, committed and a fast learner with previous experience of a busy environment
computer literate with an aptitude for numbers
basic understanding of bookkeeping and accountancy procedures
strong communication skills
ability to work with individuals across departments
solid organisational skills and the ability to prioritise a varied workload
