- support students' access to core subjects , using differentiated teaching strategies and inclusive learning techniques
- work collaboratively with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and speech therapists to provide targeted interventions
- A well-established secondary school in London is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to provide specialist support to students with physical disabilities, mobility challenges, and communication needs
- assist students in navigating the school environment, including classroom transitions, PE sessions, and extracurricular activities
- the ideal candidate will work closely with teachers, therapists, and support staff to ensure students can access learning through assistive technology, AAC , and adaptive mobility aids

Requirements
- A Level 3 Award in Supporting Teaching & Learning in Schools or equivalent qualification
- A Specialist SEN Diploma or Certificate
- training in Makaton & British Sign Language
- familiarity with Assistive Technology & AAC to support non-verbal or speech-impaired students
- experience working with students with physical disabilities and mobility needs, implementing physiotherapy and motor skills development exercises
- A commitment to inclusive education, with the patience and empathy to support students' social, emotional, and academic progress
- strong teamwork and communication skills, working collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and therapists
