- manage enquiries into the helpdesk and effectively prioritise tickets for an efficient and timely resolve
- set up new starters and leavers on the system
- assist with third line support when required including the development and management of the server, network and communication infrastructure
- to build/deploy/manage Windows Laptops, Apple MacBook’s and other mobile devices as required
- perform regular system monitoring
- daily backup procedures on the various server systems
- provide first and second line IT support to internal staff for all technologies, associated software and peripheral devices as well as day-to-day administration of systems and communications devices
Requirements
- previous experience in a similar IT support role
- excellent understanding of MS Windows client operating systems, 365 applications & Active Directory
- good understanding of TCP/IP, AD/DNS/DHCP
- good written and oral communication skills
- ability to organise workload and prioritise competing demands
- newton Abbot, TQ12 2BZ: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work
