ensuring everything runs smoothly front of house and there is good communication between the front and our kitchen team
aside from all the usual jobs you would expect of a server such as meeting and greeting guests, operating our booking software & taking over the phone bookings, taking food and drink orders, running food and drink to tables, cleaning and setting of tables and polishing cutlery
you will also be responsible for the training of staff to do these jobs as well, setting up the front of house ready for the start of the shift before the pub opens and then ensuring all jobs are done at the end
you will report directly to the owners regarding all front of house matters and work with them on future front of house recruitment, training, as well as any changes needed in how front of house operates
