Requirements
- fully qualified electrician
- compliance with 17th Edition IEE regulations
- full, UK Driving Licence
- an excellent understanding of planning and scheduling of work processes
- A recognised apprenticeship in mechanical/electrical or dual skilled engineering to at least NVQ level 3 or equivalent

- must be a fully qualified industrial electrician
- ability to take responsibility make decisions and uses initiative, working proactively
Responsibility
- maintaining, repairing and installing electrical equipment on various assets types and locations, often in challenging conditions
- producing high quality work, working with mechanical, instrumentation technicians and operations staff
- able to work well and safely as part of a team or as an individual
- proactively identifying and preventing mechanical failures in a timely manner
- carrying out like for like installations, refurbishment and assist with commissioning equipment to specification and on time
- installing, maintaining and repairing electrical systems generally
- reading and interpreting engineering drawings of various equipment to ensure correct tolerance and fits are maintained for efficient plant operation
- ensuring the correct Health & Safety, procurement and administration procedures are followed on every job, including up to date information required for Welsh Water waste key performance indicators
