Responsibility
- perform MOT tests on vehicles in accordance with regulatory standards
- identify and report any faults or issues with vehicles
- conduct necessary repairs or adjustments to ensure vehicles pass the MOT test
- maintain accurate records of all tests conducted
- communicate effectively with customers regarding test results and any required repairs
Requirements
- must have minimum 3 years experience as a MOT Tester or similar role
- NVQ Level 3 is required
- strong mechanical knowledge and proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary
- excellent attention to detail and accuracy in conducting tests
- strong communication skills and customer service orientation
- must have a valid driving license
- MOT tested/mechanic: 3 years
