Responsibility

  • welcoming all clients and visitors to the hospital
  • answering telephones and diverting or taking messages ensuring prompt delivery and accurate details
  • monitoring practice email and directing enquiries to the relevant department
  • accurately inputting patient data to the computer system as required
  • dealing with all general enquiries, explaining procedures in place and making new and follow up appointments
  • ensuring that waiting areas, reception and patient toilets are kept clean, tidy and stocked up
  • office administration duties to include scanning and filing

  • REPORTING TO: Hospital Director
  • conduct exit interviews for all leavers at time of resignation
  • maintain/manage HR systems and records including absence, CPD and holiday records
  • adhere to confidentiality relating to all aspects of the business including complying with and assisting with all requirements relating to GDPR
  • manage long-term absence cases, supporting line managers in maintaining contact, adhering to absence management guidance, referring cases to OH and implementing reasonable adjustments
