Responsibility
- whiteghyll makes bespoke display items, window theatre and internal signage primarily for retail display purposes
- we are now looking for a time served bench hand joiner to work in our Joinery dept
- experience in wood working machinery, table saws, chop saws, planer, spindle moulder, edge bander
- ability to interpret drawings
- ability to work to deadline
- installation on site required from time to time
- we are a one stop shop for our customers and have a variety of different depts including digital print, spray shop and CNC
- willingness to work overtime as and when required
Requirements
- proven experience as a joiner or carpenter
- proficient in using hand and power tools
- knowledge of different types of wood and substrates and their characteristics
- ability to interpret technical drawings
- strong attention to detail and precision in measurements and cuts
- physical stamina for heavy lifting
- excellent problem-solving skills
