- the successful candidate would ideally have experience of refurbishment works, externally & internally and have experience of cost analysis
- A full driving licence is essential, as site visits are required and may need to include visits to other areas
- we are a thriving specialist construction company, specialising in External Wall Insulation and retrofit refurbishment works of residential properties on behalf of councils and housing associations

- due to the volume of work we have secured and the location of these works, we require a qualified Quantity Surveyor for the Midlands area, to oversee projects in the vicinity, liaising with Clients on interim valuations, costing variations, controlling project costs to target and finalising the account, as well as managing sub-contractor contracts and costs

- good communication skills are essential, as we pride ourselves on our customer/client relationships, many of whom are repeat customers, and many of our approved sub-contractors work on projects time after time
- the successful candidate would also have to work well with the QS and on-site management team, to effectively manage costs and works
