Requirements

  • teaching qualification such as Certificate or Diploma in Education
  • assessor qualified with at least 3 years’ experience
  • internal verifier qualified with at least 1 years experience
  • highly experienced or qualified in carrying out Observations of Teaching and learning across all programmes

Responsibility

  • complete subcontractor staff interviews and ensure learner interviews are regularly completed with subcontracted learners
  • undertake additional duties as allocated by the Executive Director
  • create and support developments around new and revised policies
  • contribute to Board reports on Quality including achievement rate data, quality improvements & teaching and learning
  • attend AELP sector forum update meetings to keep ahead of changes and developments in the relevant sectors
  • support EQA visits and quality assurance as and when required
  • support the Data & Compliance Manager with maintaining Subcontracting controls, in line with the Subcontractor Standard
  • review subcontracting policies in line with their dates for renewal
