Responsibility
- be enthusiastic, reliable and self-motivated and interested in all thing’s mechanical
- responsible for the day to day running of the workshop and set-up of course maintenance machinery
- ensure that all tasks are completed in a timely manner
- assist with golf course maintenance duties on a daily basis
- maintain accurate records for all repairs and track maintenance schedules
- oversee the proper care and use all equipment and tools
- ensure a safe, clean, and productive work environment at all times
- cutting and maintenance of playing surfaces
Requirements
- 2-3 years experience in golf machinery maintenance and repair would be preferred
- knowledge of turf care practices and equipment operation
- NVQ Level 2 in greenkeeping desirable
- PA1, 2 and 6 desirable
- chainsaw licence desirable
- attention to detail and ability to follow instructions closely
- strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team
