technical manager
Responsibility
- obtain and maintain environmental permits, licenses, and waste classifications to ensure regulatory compliance
- lead R&D projects on new feedstock sources, pre-treatment methods, and process improvements
- oversee plant commissioning and provide technical support to optimise performance and output
- conduct feedstock analysis to develop ideal blends and CNP ratios that maximise biomethane yields
- introduce and implement new technologies and treatments, such as nanobubble and ozone, to enhance operations
- develop BMP testing capabilities and provide technical sales support on EWC codes
- define standard laboratory processes and continuous improvement programmes
- prepare weekly reports on technical developments, plant performance, and other KPIs
Requirements
- degree in Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
- strong project management and analytical skills
- excellent communication and presentation abilities
- passionate about sustainability and renewable energy
- 10+ years’ experience in anaerobic digestion or waste-to-energy operations
- supervising experience: 1 year
