Responsibility
- act as a key ambassador for the business
- treat every Patient with Empathy, Courtesy and respect in a dignified way
- treat every Patient as an individual using only the most appropriate methods and technology
- carry out eye examinations to Patients with a range of different needs who are unable to attend a high street practice
- offer help and advice to Patients and Carers with regard to eye health, spectacles required, and frame and lens choice
- ensure record cards, GOS paperwork and referrals are completed accurately and legibly
- carry out a handover with patients, care home manager and/or family members to discuss the examination results and any recommendations
- actively participate in team meetings to look for areas of improvement and receive feedback
Requirements
- GOC registration
- A minimum of 1 years post qualified experience
- minimum one year post qualified experience
- domiciliary experience would be advantageous
- able to demonstrate strong clinical practice
- GOC & and appropriate OPL/Health board registration
- excellent communications skills both Verbal and Non-Verbal
- in-depth knowledge of full NHS and professional compliance
