football coach
Responsibility
- plan and deliver high-quality coaching sessions that combine football development with physical fitness principles
- lead individual, small group, and team-based training sessions
- support player development in areas such as strength, endurance, agility, and injury prevention
- monitor and record player progress and provide regular feedback
- create a positive, inclusive, and motivating environment for all participants
- work collaboratively with other coaches to ensure consistency across all programmes
- promote safe practices, safeguarding, and wellbeing at all times
- contribute to events, camps, and matchdays as required
Requirements
- minimum FA Level 1 or UEFA C Licence
- proven experience in sports coaching, particularly in football
- recognised fitness qualification
- strong communication and leadership skills
- experience coaching young players in a structured environment
- in-depth knowledge of football rules, techniques, and tactics
- knowledge of physical development in youth athletes
- strong communication and organisational skills
