Requirements
proven experience in warehouse management or a similar role within logistics or supply chain environments
strong knowledge of shipping and receiving processes, as well as warehouse management systems
familiarity with transportation management systems is advantageous
demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively while fostering a collaborative work environment
experience in implementing continuous improvement initiatives within warehousing operations is preferred

monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to maintain adequate stock levels
conduct regular audits of warehouse operations to identify areas for continuous improvement
supervise daily warehouse activities, including inventory management, shipping, receiving, and order fulfilment

provide cover where required for the wider finance team including sales ledger, purchase ledger, banking and month-end processes
assist in the preparation of regular reporting packs for manufacturing, sales and other measures that have a financial impact across the business
ensuring accuracy of financial data across systems and resolving issues found
assist the Finance Manager with the preparation of the month-end and year-end close processes primarily in areas that effect gross margin but also support the wider finance team where required
