door supervisor
Responsibility
- greeting and welcoming customers into the venue , as well as assessing their intoxication levels and challenging/refusing those who appear intoxicated
- monitor crowd behaviour to ensure that patrons do not engage in any threatening or violent behaviour towards others
- remove such individuals who occasion or cause harm, whether this be physical or mental, to others within the venue and/or themselves
- work closely with the venue's management to ensure that customers have a safe and enjoyable experience whilst in/on the premises
- ensuring that all customers that appear under the age of 25 present their ID in line with the Challenge 25 - Proof-of-Age Policy
- conduct such searches on bags and on persons as are necessary to prevent the introduction of drugs, alcohol or other such prohibited items into the venue
- all candidates will be required to undergo screening to British Standard 7858
Requirements
- security: 1 year
- manchester, Greater Manchester: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work
