Requirements
- qualified accounting technician, qualified/certified bookkeeper, part/fully qualified accountant or accounting graduate
- relevant experience working in practice for an accounting firm desirable, or ideally experience working in a finance function
- experience using Xero accounting software and completing bookkeeping for small business clients using cloud accounting tools desirable
- experience using Brightpay to complete payroll submissions desirable
- ability to manage a portfolio of clients with minimal supervision
- managing deadlines and dealing with client queries and ad-hoc tasks and assignments
- eager to learn, willing to share their knowledge as part of a team
- have a 'can do' and 'will do' attitude everyday
Responsibility
- cloud bookkeeping, year end accounting, in year management reporting, self assessment personal and corporation tax returns, preparation and review of VAT returns, payroll, company secretarial work, client budgets, forecasts, cloud accounting set up/training and tax advisory support
