Requirements
- extensive knowledge and experience in strategic procurement principles, contract development/review, and providing advice and support to stakeholders at all levels
- the Procurement team is well-established within the charity and is well-engaged with all our stakeholders who utilise our embedded processes
- extensive knowledge of developing tender documents and specifications and the full end to end procurement process
- we co-manage with our stakeholders nearly 300 contracts across five Directorates
- demonstrable understanding of the commercial environment, including identification of commercial risk and providing high-level commercial advice
- we’ve recently released our Procurement Strategy to align to Goal 5 of our 5-year organisational strategy - ‘ ’
- full Membership of Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply or evidence of substantial experience in a similar role
- strong team management skills, including the ability to drive activity and work independently
